Refund Policy

1. 14-day right to withdraw (consumers)

If you sign up as a private consumer (B2C) you have, under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven) § 18, a 14-day right to withdraw from your subscription without giving any reason. The 14 days run from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right, send a clear statement to support@tasktogo.com within 14 days of signup. We will refund the full amount paid (incl. VAT) within 14 days using the same payment method you used originally.

Waiver of the 14-day right (immediate activation): at checkout you may actively choose to waive this right in order to get immediate access to TASKTOGO. The waiver is only valid when the checkbox is ticked actively (no pre-tick) and we keep a record of the consent (date, IP, browser) so it can be reproduced if needed.

2. Business customers (B2B)

B2B customers (registered with a CVR or EU VAT number) are not covered by the 14-day right. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refund is issued for unused time except where required by law or agreed in writing.

3. Refund process

1. Email support@tasktogo.com from the email address on the invoice.
2. State the invoice number and the reason (not required for the 14-day right).
3. We acknowledge the request within 2 business days.
4. If approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method within 14 days.
5. A credit note (kreditnota) is generated and linked to the original invoice for bookkeeping.

4. What is non-refundable

• Partial months/years on B2B plans cancelled mid-term.
• Add-on usage already consumed (storage overage, message volume).
• Fees for services already fully delivered after a valid waiver of the 14-day right.

5. Pre-renewal reminders

For annual consumer subscriptions you receive an email reminder 30 days before automatic renewal, as required by Forbrugerombudsmanden. You can cancel any time before the renewal date from your billing settings — no questions asked.

6. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can file a complaint with Danish Competition and Consumer Authority or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. Governing law is Danish law and the courts of Denmark have exclusive jurisdiction.
