Configure in-app, email, and push notifications for tasks, messages, and events.

Notifications — manage alerts and preferences

TASKTOGO delivers notifications through multiple channels so you never miss something important.

Types of notifications

Adjust your notification preferences

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
  2. Toggle each notification type on or off.
  3. For group message notifications, choose:
    • All messages — notified on every new message.
    • Mentions only — notified only when @mentioned (default).
    • None — no notifications from this group's messages.

Manage per-group settings

  1. Open a group.
  2. Click the bell 🔔 icon in the group header.
  3. Set your preference for that specific group.

Push notifications (mobile app)

The TASKTOGO mobile app can send push notifications to your phone.

  1. Open the app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Tap Enable push notifications and grant the system permission when prompted.

You can silence push notifications per group the same way as on the web.

Email digest

Instead of individual emails, you can receive a daily digest summarising all your unread notifications.

  1. Go to Settings → Notifications → Email preferences.
  2. Enable Daily digest and choose a delivery time.
  3. TASKTOGO won't send individual notification emails while the digest is active (except billing alerts, which are always immediate).

Do Not Disturb

Activate DND to pause all in-app notification banners:

  1. Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner.
  2. Click Do Not Disturb.
  3. Choose a duration (1 hour, 4 hours, until tomorrow, or indefinitely).

DND does not suppress emails or mobile push notifications.
