Export your data

Under GDPR you have the right to receive a copy of all personal data TASKTOGO holds about you. The export is available at any time and is free of charge.

Request a data export

1. Go to Settings → Security.
2. Scroll to Data & privacy.
3. Click Export my data.
4. A JSON file download starts immediately.

The export includes:

• Your profile information (name, email, settings, timezone).
• Your group memberships (group name, role, joined date).
• Tasks you created or are assigned to.
• Calendar events you created.
• Messages you sent (content, timestamps, attachments metadata).
• Notification preferences.
• Audit trail of your own account actions (login history, password changes).

File format

The export is a single .json file. Use any text editor or spreadsheet tool that can import JSON to view it. If you need a specific format (CSV, etc.), contact support.

What's not included

• Messages and content created by other users.
• Group-level data you don't own (this belongs to the group/organisation).
• Deleted data that has passed our 30-day soft-delete retention period.
